Weave a Sunset: Intro to Tapestry ~ in-person

Join me in person in an intimate small group setting in a home in Roberts Creek, British Columbia for a comprehensive introduction to tapestry weaving.

About the workshop:
Learn the art of weaving pictures using my handcrafted Everlea Looms and a gorgeous array of Everlea naturally dyed yarns.

Introduction to Tapestry Weaving is a chock-full workshop which introduces new weavers to the fundamentals of tapestry weaving: the art of weaving pictures. You will leave the workshop with a solid understanding of how to weave shapes, outline shapes, multiple methods for blending colours and finishing techniques, all while weaving your one-of-a-kind sunset! 

You will get to use and take home an Everlea loom kit, as follows:

  1. A handcrafted wooden Everlea Loom
  2. Your choice of colourways of my naturally dyed Everlea Yarn.
  3. Two Everlea Weaving Needles

Folks who already own an Everlea Loom will get yarn and a second weaving needle.

from the dropdown menu, choose the option that corresponds with the loom size and wood type that you want to purchase as part of your supplies: 5”x8” or 8”x11”, walnut (dark wood) or maple (light wood).

After the workshop you will get access to the following support materials:

  1. Janna's downloadable e-book with custom illustrations
  2. Forever access to an online class of the same tapestry class, previously recorded.
