Historically tapestry is woven with a limited palate of hand-dyed colourways, known as the Economy of Colour, with the intention of creating additional colourways by holding multiple strands of different colourways together, also known as 'bundling' or 'blending on the bobbin'. This practice is among the earliest uses of optical blending in art. I offer two kinds of yarn for bundling: Bio Shetland and Eco Vita.
